Description
The FW-MN5-MEGA filter set from Freewell was developed precisely for the DJI Mini 5 Pro and combines six different types of filters in a total of 16 filters. The ND filters range from ND16 to ND1000 and reduce light incidence by up to 10 f-stops, making long exposure shots of water, clouds, or landscapes possible. The combined ND/PL filters from ND8/PL to ND256/PL unite exposure control with a polarizing effect in a single glass element.
The LPR filter reduces haze and light pollution, while the CPL filter suppresses reflections on glass, water, and metal, thereby providing stronger contrast. The Glow Mist filter creates a soft, cinematic haze that softens harsh contrasts; the UV filter additionally protects the lens from ultraviolet radiation. All glass elements are made of premium optical glass with anti-reflective coating; the frames are made from corrosion-resistant CNC aluminum.
With a weight of only 0.7–1.0 grams per filter, the set is designed with gimbal safety in mind and does not affect the balance and performance of the gimbal. This makes it suitable for drone pilots who want to achieve stable and controlled footage in a wide variety of lighting conditions.
