Description
The Freewell filter set combines multiple filter types in a magnetic system for 82 mm lenses: ND/gray filter, a polarization filter, and a Black-Mist filter for softer image rendition. The variable ND range of 2 to 9 aperture stops allows continuous adjustment of light amount, for example for longer exposure times or controlled aperture openings with changing light.
The filters are mounted in an aluminum frame and can be exchanged via the magnetic quick-change mechanism without thread. The optical glass features an 18-layer multi-coating that reduces reflections and supports image sharpness. Adapter rings allow the system to be adapted to other filter thread sizes from 58 to 95 mm, making it easier to use with different lenses.
