Description
The Freewell aluminum base ring forms the foundation of the Real Locking filter system and is mounted directly on the lens with 52 mm filter thread. It establishes the connection to other system components, such as VND filters, and allows for safe and quick changes. The ring measures 89.3 mm in outer diameter and 4.8 mm in thickness, and weighs 5.7 g.
The ring is complemented by a protective cap with an outer diameter of 102.9 mm, a thickness of 6.1 mm, and a weight of 25.9 g, which protects the lens or mounted filters from external influences. An NFC module is integrated into the cap, allowing you to retrieve information via smartphone, such as instruction manuals.
