Description
The FW-L1-BL49 base ring from Freewell forms the foundation of the Real Locking VND/CPL filter system and allows for quick and secure mounting of filters on lenses with 49 mm thread. Made of aluminum in black, the ring itself weighs 5.7 g with an outer diameter of 89.3 mm and a thickness of 4.8 mm.
Since the ring is available in various sizes from 49 mm to 82 mm, the Real Locking system can be extended to different lens diameters and cameras. A cap with an outer diameter of 102.9 mm, a thickness of 6.1 mm and a weight of 25.9 g is included, which protects the mounted filter or lens from dust and scratches. An integrated NFC chip in the cap enables direct access to manuals and support materials via smartphone.
