Description
The FNIRSI NVS-40 is a digital night vision device that records video in 4K resolution and photos up to 36 MP thanks to a light-sensitive CMOS sensor. An 850 nm IR illumination with 7 intensity levels extends observation in complete darkness to up to 300 m, while in low light, sharp observation is possible from 2 m onwards. The 6x digital zoom and 25 mm lens allow flexible approach to distant objects, such as wildlife observation or night-time outdoor use.
The device is operated via a 3-inch IPS display, which shows the live image and allows direct playback of stored videos and photos without the need for an external monitor. Recordings are stored on a microSD card up to 32 GB. The plastic and metal housing features a tripod socket and can be operated in 9 menu languages.
Power is supplied by a 3.7 V 18650 lithium-ion battery, which can be charged via USB-C at 5V/1A and provides around 8 hours of operation on a full charge. With an operating temperature range of -5 to 40 °C and permissible humidity of 0-80%, the NVS-40 is also suitable for use under varying weather conditions outdoors.
