Description
The FNIRSI WMT-10 is a humidity meter that inductively detects the moisture content of surfaces without drilling through the material. Via an electromagnetic wave sensor with a measurement field of 40.5 x 40.5 mm, values are determined to a depth of 17 mm, with a resolution of 0.1% and an accuracy of 1.5%. Four measurement modes cover softwood, hardwood, masonry and plaster/concrete surfaces, thus allowing a measurement range of up to 75% moisture.
Results appear on a 2.4-inch TFT color display and can be locked if needed; additionally, up to 30 measurement values can be stored in the device and compared later. The housing is equipped with a non-slip silicone coating and thus sits securely in the hand. An integrated 1000 mAh battery is charged via USB-C and can be set to automatically shut down after 5, 10 or 15 minutes, which reduces power consumption during continuous operation.
The device is therefore suitable for professionals from construction, renovation and carpentry who need to reliably check moisture values in wood, plaster, cement, gypsum, concrete or brick without damaging the surface.
