Description
The FNIRSI FD10 plugs into the vehicle's OBD II port and automatically connects via Bluetooth 5.1 to the YMOBD app on the smartphone. It supports the buses CAN_BUS, K_LINE and L_LINE as well as protocols such as SAE J1850, ISO9141-2, ISO14230-4 KWP and ISO15765-4 CAN and is designed for OBD2 gasoline vehicles from 2006 onwards. With its compact dimensions of just 49 x 33 x 26 mm, it remains unobtrusive at the port.
Via the app, fault codes can be read and cleared and a complete vehicle scan can be performed without needing to visit a workshop. The 12 diagnostic functions include, among others, trip data logging, performance testing, travel analysis and the detection of carbon deposits in the throttle body housing. While driving, the app displays values such as speed, engine speed, coolant temperature, battery voltage and fuel consumption in real-time, thus supporting control of driving style and consumption.
The device operates with a power consumption of at most 1 W with an operating voltage of 8 to 28 V and is designed for a temperature range of -40 to +85 °C. The YMOBD app is available for iOS and Android and supports 24 languages.
