Description
The Sunlu Wood Map filament is a PLA composite with wood dust content of up to 15%, which gives printed models a wood-like appearance and feel in the Maple Brown color variant. Due to the admixture of wood dust, a subtle wood scent develops during printing, and the finished parts look more natural thanks to their matte surface compared to classic plastic prints.
With a filament diameter of 1.75 mm and a spool length of 330 m, the material can be processed at print temperatures up to 260 °C. The mechanical properties – including a tensile strength of 37 MPa, a bending strength of 65 MPa, and an impact strength of 65 kJ/m² – are within the typical range for PLA wood composite materials and allow stable, detailed prints.
The filament is compatible with most FDM 3D printers, such as devices from Creality, Prusa, Bambu Lab and Anycubic, and is thus suitable for decorative objects, figurines and prototypes.
