Description

The Fifine K688W is a dynamic microphone with cardioid polar pattern that specifically captures voices and vocals in front of the microphone and reduces side and background noise. The dynamic capsule with a frequency response of 50 to 15000 Hz is designed for use in untreated rooms and thus delivers clear, focused sound even without acoustic treatment.

Via the USB-C connection, the microphone can be connected directly to computers, gaming consoles or smartphones, while the balanced XLR output enables operation with a mixer or audio interface while reducing noise and self-noise. A 3.5 mm headphone output with support for impedances from 16 to 75 Ω allows direct signal monitoring without additional amplification, complemented by separate gain and headphone volume controls on the bottom of the housing and a touch-sensitive LED mute button.

The metal housing is equipped with an anti-shock mounting with silicone elements that keeps mechanical vibrations away from the capsule. Thus, the K688W is aimed at professionally working streamers, podcast authors and creatives who need flexible connections between USB and XLR.
