Description
The Habotest HT118A is a digital handheld multimeter for professional use that determines measurement values using the True-RMS method with automatic range selection and displays them on an illuminated LCD display with 6000 counts resolution. It covers DC voltage from 600 mV to 1000 V, AC voltage from 600 mV to 750 V as well as temperatures from -40 to 1000 °C and is rated for CAT III 1000 V and CAT IV 600 V for use in corresponding installation categories.
The basic equipment includes non-contact voltage detection (NCV) with acoustic and visual alarm, a continuity tester with its own alarm, as well as a diode test. Max/Min function and data hold help to record measured values, while automatic power-off after 15 minutes of inactivity conserves the two supplied AA batteries.
For use in poorly lit areas, the device has a built-in flashlight and a doubly illuminated screen. A folding stand allows the device to be placed freestanding on a flat surface during measurement.
