Description
The starter kit consists of two Powerline adapters that establish a network connection of up to 1200 Mbit/s via the existing power grid according to the G.hn HomeGrid standard. Thanks to ground conductor technology, the line is used efficiently, while Quality of Service ensures prioritized data transmission, such as during streaming or video telephony.
Both adapters feature an integrated socket so that no power outlets are blocked, as well as one RJ-45 port each with 10/100 Mbit/s for wired devices. In addition, they broadcast WLAN according to the 802.11b/a/g/n standards at up to 300 Mbit/s and support WPA, WPA2 and WPA3-PSK encryption, which allows the existing home network to be extended wirelessly.
With a range of 400 m, the set is suitable for apartments and houses where the WLAN signal does not arrive reliably everywhere.
