Description
The Carlinkit CPC200-Tbox S is an adapter that transforms a factory-wired CarPlay or Android Auto connection into a wireless connection. iPhones starting from model 6 with iOS 10.0 as well as Android devices from version 11.0 onwards can be paired with the vehicle system without cables.
As a standalone Android 13.0 platform with a Qualcomm SM6115 Quad-Core processor, Adreno 610 graphics unit, 4 or 8 GB of RAM, and 64 or 128 GB of internal storage, the device can also load apps directly. The internal storage can be expanded by up to 512 GB via the TF card slot. For connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi according to the 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac standard as well as Bluetooth 4.2/5.0 are available, and GPS, Glonass, and Beidou are used for positioning.
In addition to phone connectivity, the adapter serves as a multimedia platform in the vehicle through which streaming and social media applications as well as Bluetooth accessories such as tire pressure sensors or OBD systems can be integrated. The housing is made of ABS and PC, and the connection to the vehicle is made via a 30 cm long USB-C cable.
