Description
The Carlinkit CP2A PRO transforms the factory-installed wired CarPlay of a vehicle into a wireless system and operates on the Plug-and-Play principle without additional software. After initial pairing, it automatically connects to the phone when the engine starts, eliminating the need for cables in the interior. For the connection, the device uses WiFi at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and Bluetooth 4.2.
Control via steering wheel buttons and vehicle controls remain unchanged, as does the original screen resolution, which makes wireless CarPlay or Android Auto feel like the factory system. Additionally, an external WiFi hotspot can be integrated in parallel during use.
Inside, a Quad Cortex-A53 processor runs on Android 12.0, and the housing is made of ABS and PC. The adapter features USB-A and USB-C ports and requires an input voltage of 5V with a power consumption of 3.5 W.
