The GAL 18V-40 is a fast charger for the Bosch Professional 18V battery system and charges all Li-Ion batteries on this platform. With a charging voltage of 14.4 to 18 V and a charging current of 4.0 A, it covers common battery capacities from 2.0 to 6.0 Ah as well as ProCORE18V batteries.

Depending on the battery capacity, charging time varies: a 2.0 Ah battery is fully charged in about 35 minutes, a 6.0 Ah battery in about 95 minutes. For the more powerful ProCORE18V batteries with 8.0 Ah or 12.0 Ah, a full charge takes about 124 or 172 minutes respectively. This makes the charger suitable for tradespeople and professionals who need rapid charging of their 18V batteries during their daily work.
