The Ancel BA201 is a versatile battery tester for cars, vans, boats, light trucks and motorcycles. It covers a voltage range of 8-16 V and tests cold cranking current according to CCA, EN, IEC, DIN, BCI, MCA, JIS and GB standards. In addition to charging and load tests, it offers real-time voltage monitoring and data storage.

Description
The Ancel BA201 is a compact diagnostic device for assessing the condition of starter batteries. It covers a voltage range of 8-16 V DC and measures the cold cranking current according to the selected standard between 100 and 2000 CCA, supplemented by GB values ranging from 30 to 220 Ah. It is therefore suitable for both cars and vans as well as boats, light trucks and motorcycles.
In addition to battery charging test, start test and load test, the device records internal resistance and battery voltage and analyzes the voltage waveform including ripple test. Anomaly alarms and data storage support continuous monitoring, while real-time voltage monitoring provides deeper insights into battery condition. Connected to a computer, test results can also be printed, which facilitates documentation in workshops.
The menu is available in twelve languages, including German, English, French and Italian, which simplifies use in different environments.
