Description
The AXAGON PCES-SA4X4 connects four additional SATA-III drives to the motherboard via a PCI-Express interface and achieves transfer rates of up to 6 Gbit/s. This is made possible by an ASMedia chipset which, in addition to the SATA 3.0 specification, also supports features such as Hot-Plug, Native Command Queuing, TRIM and Port Multiplier.
The card can be used on most operating systems without additional driver installation and is available in both Full-Profile and Low-Profile form factors. The included Low-Profile bracket allows installation in standard as well as compact Low-Profile cases.
