Description
The AXAGON ADSA-D25 is a docking station for two 2.5-inch SATA III drives connected to the computer via a Micro-USB-B 3.0 connection and achieves data transfer rates of up to 5000 Mbit/s. The hard drives are simply inserted into the slots, no tools are required.
The special feature is the standalone clone function: a source drive and a target drive can be duplicated directly in the station without a PC needing to be connected. The progress of the copy operation is displayed via four LEDs, making it possible, for example, to transfer the contents of old hard drives including the operating system to new drives.
Through UASP support, the speed of modern SSDs is utilized, while TRIM prevents performance degradation. S.M.A.R.T. readout enables condition monitoring of the drives, and a sleep mode for the station and drives is also supported. The housing is made of black aluminum and is powered via USB.
