Description
The AXAGON ADSA-1S6 is an adapter that connects 2.5 inch SATA SSDs and hard drives via the SATA-6G interface to a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port. This allows existing drives to be easily used on a computer, for example to read data or repurpose a drive externally.
UASP support provides higher transfer rates, especially for small files, while TRIM counters the gradual performance degradation of SSDs. Via S.M.A.R.T., the status of connected drives can be monitored, and boot support enables starting a system directly from the connected drive. Additionally, the adapter supports graceful shutdown of both the hard drive and the adapter itself.
