Description
The Maono AMC2 Neo combines an audio mixer with a built-in soundcard and is designed for anyone who wants to mix voice, microphone, and backing music for streams, podcasts, or videos. Via XLR, you can connect dynamic microphones such as the Shure SM7B or MV7, as well as models from the Maono range PM320S, PD100, PD200X, PD400X, HD300T, and PM500, powered with 48V phantom power for clean signal quality at 48 kHz and 16 bit.
A two-stage noise reduction lowers disruptive background noise by up to 60 dB, while the SideChain function automatically reduces music volume when speaking. The Music-Only function filters out vocal tracks from backing music, leaving only the instrumental track. Three freely assignable sound pads allow you to play custom audio clips during recording.
The mixer can be powered via USB-C to a laptop or computer, or used mobile via the integrated 1500 mAh battery, which charges in approximately 2.5 hours and provides approximately 7 hours of operating time. Separate controls for microphone and backing music, as well as a headphone output with 20 mW power at 32 Ω impedance, round out the operation. Via Bluetooth 4.2 and the 3.5mm jack connection, a smartphone can also be integrated for mobile streaming, compatible with platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, Discord, and OBS Studio.
