Description
The ASUS QG-U1080 is an unmanaged switch with 8 RJ-45 ports supporting 2.5G Ethernet (100/1000/2500 Mbit/s) via Cat5e cabling, complemented by 2 SFP+ connectors with up to 10000 Mbit/s. This allows you to connect devices with 2.5G connections and connect them at higher speeds via the SFP+ ports to the rest of the network or to a network uplink.
Internally, the switch processes data at a rate of 59.52 Mpps, manages a MAC address table with 16000 entries, and features a buffer memory of 8 MB. Jumbo frames up to 10000 bytes are supported, as are the network standards IEEE 802.3ab, 802.3bz, 802.3u, 802.3x, and 802.3az. Since no configuration is required, the device is suitable for direct use without management overhead, such as for connecting access points or other switches.
The switch is powered by a 12V DC connection; PoE is not provided. It operates in a temperature range of 0 to 40 °C and is equipped with a white housing featuring LED indicators for power and link.
