Description
The XREAL Beam Pro is an adapter that supplies video and audio signals to AR glasses from PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck and smartphones, while functioning as a standalone device with a 6.497-inch display. It uses the NebulaOS operating system based on Android 14, which enables direct access to apps from the Google Play Store. The built-in display features a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels at 60 Hz and 450 nits brightness, and responds to up to 10 touch points.
For image transmission to AR glasses, video output up to 3840x1080 at 72 Hz or 1920x1080 at 90 Hz is available via USB-C DisplayPort, powered by a Snapdragon processor designed for spatial technology. With 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of internal storage, and the ability to expand up to 1 TB via Micro-SD card, the device provides sufficient space for apps, games and media. Wi-Fi 6 with 2x2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.2 ensure wireless connectivity.
The dual 50 MP 3D camera with electronic image stabilization and two 12 MP stereo sensors enable recording of spatial side-by-side videos in 1080p at 60 fps with stereo audio, while the 8 MP front camera is available for video calls. A 4300 mAh battery with up to 27 W charging power delivers 3.5 hours of runtime paired with XREAL AR glasses, or 7.5 hours when using the built-in display; a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope and compass complete the equipment. The plastic housing is protected against dust and water splashes according to IP54.
