Description
The Ancel S160 is a smoke generator that detects leaks in various vehicle systems, such as the crankcase, intake manifold gaskets, charge air cooler, valves, or fuel system. It operates in smoke or air mode with a flow rate of less than 10 l/min and an operating pressure of 0.8 to 14.5 PSI. A built-in air pump eliminates the need for an external compressor, so the device can be connected directly to a 12-volt battery and used immediately.
After filling with 20 ml of test oil, smoke forms in less than 10 seconds, allowing for rapid localization of the leak source. A built-in pressure gauge and a flow meter allow monitoring of pressure and flow rate during testing. Control is manual or via app.
The housing is made of metal and features overheat and frost protection, which protect the device and operator during intensive workshop or field use. The power cable and hose are each 2.5 m long.
