Description
The AXAGON ADM2-CM is an M.2 adapter that connects both NVMe and SATA SSDs in M.2 form factor to the computer via a USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface. Thanks to the chipset used, the drive type does not need to be distinguished in advance, as both variants are read by the same adapter. The connection is made via a fixed USB-C cable with a length of 10 cm.
With a transfer rate of up to 10 Gbit/s, the speed of modern M.2 drives is fully exploited. Additionally, the adapter supports UASP and TRIM as well as reading S.M.A.R.T. data to monitor the drive's status and offers a standby function in idle mode.
Due to the simple handling of loading and replacing drives, the adapter is suitable for tasks such as testing hard drives, data transfer, as well as backup and recovery.
