Description
The Miraco Plus is a handheld 3D scanner from Revopoint that enhances the photogrammetric metrology kit (PMK) of the Miraco series with high-precision functions. It allows for capturing large objects such as vehicle, ship, or aircraft components and machinery with high volumetric accuracy, while the scanner's precise point clouds simultaneously capture fine surface details. The photogrammetric accuracy is 0.02 mm plus 0.05 mm per meter of object length, and single-frame accuracy is 0.04 mm.
For capturing fine structures, optical zoom of 1.5x and 2x as well as a 48-megapixel camera for color 3D models are available. In continuous capture mode, the device scans at up to 20 frames per second, while a single-frame mode enables stepwise approach in hard-to-reach environments. Results can be checked directly on the 6-inch 2K AMOLED touchscreen, which is foldable to 180 degrees and also allows for selfie scans.
The Miraco Plus connects via Bluetooth, USB, or WLAN and is compatible with Windows and Mac OS. Scanned models can be exported in formats such as STL, OBJ, PLY, FBX, 3MF, and ASC, with maximum scan size up to 4000 x 4000 x 4000 mm. As an all-in-one solution, the scanner handles not only data capture but also processing, editing, and merging of scans.
