Description
The Creality RaptorX is a professional handheld scanner that combines three different scan modes: 7 blue parallel laser lines and NIR structured light for marker-free, contactless scanning, plus 34 blue laser lines for particularly fast capture. This allows the device to cover a wide range of tasks, from fine details to large mechanical parts.
With an accuracy of 0.02 mm and a 3D camera resolution of 2.3 MP at 60 fps, the scanner delivers precise results in 24-bit full color even on complex surfaces. The scan volume ranges from 5 x 5 x 5 mm to 4 x 4 x 4 m, allowing both small workpieces and large objects to be captured. Depending on the mode, laser class I or II applies.
The RaptorX operates wirelessly thanks to an integrated battery with approximately 4 hours of runtime and a charging time of 1.5 hours to 80%, and connects to the computer via USB-C/USB 3.0; the accompanying scanner holder also communicates via WiFi 6. Scan data can be exported as OBJ, STL or PLY and processed directly in software such as SolidWorks, Maya or Blender on Windows or macOS.
