Description
The FNIRSI HS-02B MAX is a smart digital soldering iron with segmented PID temperature control that achieves temperature control accuracy of less than 2 %. The temperature range extends from 100 to 450 °C, three temperature profiles can be stored on channels CH1 through CH3 and recalled directly. An automatic as well as a manual sleep mode with inductive sensing save energy when the device is not in use.
With up to 100 W of power, the tip heats up in about 2 seconds and maintains stable temperature even for larger solder joints. Power supply is available via USB-C Power Delivery, Quick Charge or conventionally via DC in the range of 9 to 20 V, allowing power supplies, power banks or laptops to serve as the source. This makes the soldering iron suitable for mobile use in the field as well as at the workbench.
The enclosure is made of CNC-milled aluminum with a slip-resistant silicone grip, ESD protection with grounding capability protects sensitive components. The tip is replaceable, measures 6.6 cm and the heating element has a resistance of 2.1 Ω. The soldering iron itself is 180 mm long and weighs 61 g, a 0.96 inch color IPS display shows temperature and operating mode information.
