Description
The RainPoint BIV025ESC-DC is a solenoid valve for automating irrigation systems. It features a 1" BSP thread and can easily be integrated into existing pipe systems as well as common garden controllers. The control is performed by pulse in the DC-Latch procedure at 9–24 V, with a pulse of at least 200 ms and a minimum capacitance of 4700 µF ensuring reliable switching of the valve.
Thanks to the latch technology, the valve opens and closes only briefly when powered, which reduces power consumption compared to continuously powered solutions and makes it interesting for battery-powered systems. With IP68 protection, it is protected against moisture and can be installed buried or in the open. The operating pressure of 0.2–10 bar and operating temperature of up to 60 °C cover a wide range of applications.
